Wir hatten uns überlegt eine Runde für Burning Wheel zu organisieren. Burning Wheel ist ein charaktergetriebenes, low-fantasy TTRPG, geschrieben von Luke Crane; zentral sind dort Überzeugungen und Ziele der Charaktere. Ich wollte hier mal ein wenig abtesten, wie das Interesse dazu steht.
So wird das Spiel von seinem Autor beschrieben:
"The Burning Wheel is an award-winning fantasy roleplaying game in which players take on the roles of vibrant, dynamic characters whose very beliefs propel the story forward. The rules detail dramatic systems for task resolution, advancement, trials of belief, tests of nerve, searing social conflict, dangerous sorcery, miraculous faith, and brutal, gut-wrenching martial combat. Behind the dice, your choices tangibly affect every outcome—from glorious victory to ignominious defeat—closing off one path, while opening another. This philosophy underpins the character creation system as well. Ziel wäre einmal im Monat zu spielen; Genaueres zum Setting und zur Situation besprechen wir in der Session 0. Gespielt wird in Person in Berlin oder online über Discord (Details hängen von den MitspielerInnen ab) und wir brauchen 3-4 weitere Personen.
